Flomic Global Logistics is embarking on a major expansion to increase its warehouse capacity by nearly 50% over the next six months. This ambitious move will see the company expand its existing facilities in key logistics hubs—Gurgaon, Bhiwandi, Bangalore, and Kolkata. With this expansion, Flomic’s total warehousing space will grow from 125,000 square feet to an impressive 175,000 square feet, positioning the company to meet the rapidly growing demand while offering enhanced services to both our existing and new clients.
“We’re expanding our warehouse capacity to not only meet the rising demand but to ensure that our customers receive efficient, reliable service across all locations,” said Lancy Barboza, MD, Flomic Global Logistics. “This expansion reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence in logistics.”
In a strategic push to broaden its network, Flomic has also unveiled plans to establish new warehouses in Halol, Gujarat, Ahmedabad, and Nagpur by the end of this year. These new facilities are integral to the company’s efforts to strengthen its logistical footprint and improve service accessibility in key regions across India.
Beyond physical expansion, Flomic is focused on operational excellence. As part of this, the company is rolling out an advanced in-house Warehouse Management System (WMS) to further streamline inventory management processes. The WMS will integrate operations across all facilities, enabling improved inventory control, increased efficiency, and more seamless supply chain management.
“The launch of our in-house Warehouse Management System marks a major milestone for us,” added Amarjit Singh Sahmbi, CEO – SUPPLY CHAIN SOLUTIONS at Flomic Global Logistics Ltd. “By integrating inventory management across our network, we’re enhancing our ability to optimise supply chains and deliver even greater value to our clients,” he added.
With this dual focus on expanding infrastructure and implementing cutting-edge technology, Flomic Global Logistics is positioning itself to serve its clients better and capitalise on the increasing demand in the logistics sector. The company’s continuous investment in both warehousing and technology underscores its commitment to providing comprehensive, future-ready supply chain solutions.
