Anti Corruption Foundation of India, in collaboration with the Tourism Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, successfully organized the Global Gem Award Ceremony and Tourism Promotion Event today, 15th June 2025, at Noor Mahal, Karnal, Haryana.
People of all age groups from across the country took part in this grand program. The event strongly highlighted the beauty and importance of Jammu and Kashmir’s tourist destinations. The Tourism Department received very good response and appreciation from the audience.
The Tourism Department of Jammu and Kashmir beautifully showcased its stalls, decorations, and displays of famous tourist spots of the region.
The function was graced by famous Bollywood celebrities like Raza Murad, Sudesh Berry, Deepshikha Nagpal, and Kishor Bhanushali, who encouraged the audience to visit Jammu and Kashmir and enjoy its natural beauty.
On behalf of the Tourism Department, Savita Chauhan (JKAS), Deputy Director, Publicity, and Mumtaz Ahmed, Tourism Officer, attended the event and interacted with the visitors to promote tourism in J&K.
Speaking at the event, Savita Chauhan (JKAS) invited all the participants to visit Jammu and Kashmir to experience its scenic beauty, culture, and hospitality. The celebrities also requested the audience to explore the wonderful tourist destinations of J&K.
The event was a big success and gave wide publicity to the tourism opportunities in Jammu and Kashmir.
