Here is the story of Mr.Santosh Tupe, Founder of ShreeG Software Solutions started in the year 2009. The story of commitment and resilience. Having all the uncertainties, he still turned everything right for him. The journey was a long one but a successful one.
Santosh comes from a middle-class Maharashtrian family. His father asked him to start working at an early age with the message “Learn to Earn & Earn to Learn”. Santosh had barely completed his 12th standard and took to the part-time job along with his studies. He was studying commerce at Somaiya College, Vidya Vihar and found a part-time job as an office boy at a firm which was into business of Tally software sales & services.
His first job was going to align with his life thereafter. He started by delivering the Tally software to the clients. At times, he tagged along with the sales executives who also did tally installation and training at the client site.
During such visits, he grasped the knowledge of tally. Once when his super boss asked him to present a demo, he was quick to give his best performance and was soon promoted to sales executive. And that was the start of his Tally journey. He worked with that firm & similar firms for eight long years and sought better opportunities, again in the field of Tally. Having garnered much expertise, he was confident in attending to the clients on his account. He started ShreeG Software Solutions in 2009 from home along with his wife & started building his business. Just then another business opportunity knocked, and he tied hands with a partner offering Tally services to clients. However, where like-mindedness brought him and his partner together, they also had their differences. After some turbulent four years between 2012- 2016, they finally parted. This brought a big blow to his finances.
Soon enough, his wife gave him strength and hope, and with her support, he re-started ShreeG Software Solutions, which provides Tally Software Solutions. They offer services in Tally Business Solution software and provide solutions around Accounts management, stock management, Invoicing, purchase management, Sales management, MIS reports along with statutory compliances to various industries.
Starting a business again was a risk, as he had already burnt his fingers in the partnership business, but his family was supportive, and he went on, nevertheless. He has been an entrepreneur for 12 years now, and there is no moving back. Seems God sometimes wants you to have a Plan B, and so it was for him.
Today ShreeG Software Solutions has 250 plus clients nationally and he is not just a Tally expert, but fairly good at sales and marketing to have almost 100% conversions.
As a family person, Santosh likes to spend his time with his wife and son and bonds well with them over travelling. He loves watching comedy shows and this you can enjoy in his impromptu puns. He also enjoys listening to music.
Santosh was introduced to BNI by CA Hemal Parekh. He was aware of Santosh’s Tally knowledge and thought BNI could help him gain momentum in the business. Although he was just an entrepreneur then, It took him one year to set up a team and scale his business before he joined BNI.
BNI came as another turning point in his life. BNI Navi Mumbai was an established region and brought him opportunities that helped scale his business further. With additional roles in the chapter, he slowly progressed to the regional level as Ambassador, Director Consultant & then Senior Director Consultant and explored a lot of responsibilities and opportunities. BNI is about networking, and this platform has made him a pro networker, he admits. He is amazed and inspired by the success stories of entrepreneurs here, and it keeps his enthusiasm high. He says, he is inspired to grow in BNI.
A success mantra that he would like to share with Gen Z is, ‘Keep a roadmap ready. Destiny will surely take you there.”
