Wahi is one such individual whose journey from the IT industry to teaching is rooted in a deep desire to contribute meaningfully to young minds and society at large.
An alumna of Air Force Bal Bharati School (A.F.B.B.S.) and a graduate from Hansraj College, Delhi University, with a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics and an MCA, Ms. Wahi’s career began in the fast-paced world of information technology. For over a decade, she held various roles in the corporate sector, contributing to some of the most dynamic areas of tech. But somewhere along the way, life had something different in store.
It was during the simple, everyday moments of teaching her two young sons at home that Ms. Wahi discovered a deeper calling. What started as support for their learning journey, soon ignited a personal passion for education—one strong enough to guide her towards a new path. With clarity and conviction, she followed her heart to enter the world of teaching.
Today, Ms. Wahi is a committed Maths and Science educator, driven by a genuine love for learning and a desire to make education meaningful. She brings the analytical rigour of her IT background and the warmth of a parent’s perspective into her classrooms—creating an environment where students feel seen, inspired, and empowered to explore their potential.
As both a teacher and a lifelong learner, she believes in building strong foundations, nurturing curiosity, and encouraging every child to see possibilities in themselves and the world around them. Her story is a gentle yet powerful reminder that it’s never too late to listen to your inner calling—and that impact often begins with a quiet step in a new direction.
Reflecting on her journey, she shares, “Teaching is not just a profession for me. There is a deep sense of purpose and fulfillment in knowing that I play a part in a child’s journey of learning and growth. Every day in the classroom brings with it new challenges, fresh perspectives, and the joy of shaping young minds. I genuinely enjoy my work, and I consider it a privilege to inspire, guide, and learn alongside my students. Teaching continues to enrich my life in ways I never imagined.”
